DAGUPAN CITY: A female resident of Dagupan City holds the full attention of Senators Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas (on board a kuliglig or tractor-pulled cart) as she relates the extent of the damage caused by typhoon Pepeng in her and her relatives' homes in Dagupan. Aquino and Roxas flew by helicopter to several towns in Pangasinan province Saturday to inspect the extent of the floods in Northern Luzon as Congress considers several measures for the massive repair and rehabilitation work needed in areas devastated by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. After consulting with city residents displaced by floods from Pepeng, Aquino and Roxas went to Manaoag and Urdaneta also in Pangasinan for more consultations with local residents regarding the typhoon damage.
