SUGARCANE PLANTERS: Senator Loren B. Legarda, Chair of the Senate committee on food and agriculture addressed the 39th annual meeting of Jalasig Sugarcane Planters Association held in Iloilo Thursday morning. Legarda urged for more government support and "safety nets" for agricultural industries including sugar.
