BONIFACIO SHRINE, MANILA: Yellow confetti rained again in Manila the other night as Mayor Alfredo Lim's local party Laban para sa Katarungan, Kapayapaan at Kaunalaran (KKK) signed a coalition agreement with the Liberal Party in a rally attended by thousands of Manilenos at the Bonifacio Shrine near the Manila city hall Monday afternoon that lasted up to 8 p.m. In photo, Lim (center) raises the hands of Senators Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas after endorsing their candidacy for President and Vice-President, respectively, and that of former Senate President Franklin Drilon (extreme right) and Bukidnon Rep. Teofisto Guingona Jr. (extreme left) who are both running for senator under the Aquino-Roxas tandem. Aquino and Roxas also endorsed the re-election bids of Lim and Manila Vice-Mayor Iskho Moreno and Lim's local ticket for the 2010 elections. Former Bukidnon Rep. Nereus Acosta (not in photo), who is also running for senator under the LP ticket, also attended the rally.
