ENRILE IN CEBU: Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile is greeted by Gov. Gwen Garcia of Cebu during the recent 1st Asian Cooperative TEAMshop which was held at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City, Cebu last Nov. 18. The event highlighted the contributions of cooperatives that provide essential services to local communities such as credit and banking, electric power, housing and many more. Enrile also credited the cooperatives for helping the government in its peace-building efforts in conflict-ridden areas, and in the promotion of lasting peace and development.
