2012 BESSIE B. LEGARDA AWARDEE: Senator Loren Legarda, together with Ms. Monica Aveo, General Manager of Woman Today, presents the Bessie B. Legarda (BBL) Award to Ms. Michelle Dayrit Soliven during the Woman Today’s Live Pink event at the Sky Dome, SM North EDSA. Legarda, founder of the BBL Memorial Foundation, said that the award is given to outstanding women who have inspired breast cancer patients in the Philippines. The BBLMF helps indigent breast cancer patients and conducts monthly medical missions with fellow breast cancer awareness advocates.
