GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT OF 2017: BiCam approves the national budget. Members of the BiCameral Committee approved the General Appropriations Act of 2017 (GAA) which is geared to be more inclusive - granting increased funding for agriculture and our farmers, financial support for state universities and colleges (SUCs), state penetentiaries and prisons, drug rehabilitation centers, medical support to the barrios, and incentives for centenarians.
