BARBO ATTENDS 116th BALANGIGA ENCOUNTER DAY: Senate Secretary Lutgardo B. Barbo attended the 116th Balangiga Encounter Day in Balangiga, Eastern Samar, last Saturday, September 28, 2017. According to Barbo, the Senate had filed Resolution 481, supporting the appeal of President Rodrigo Duterte to the American government for the return of the Balangiga Bells which were taken as trophies of war by American military troops in 1901.
