Prioritize public hospitals in Southern Tagalog: Sen. Cynthia Villar, during Monday’s virtual hearing of the Committee on Finance on the proposed 2021 budget of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and state universities and colleges (SUCs), September 21, 2020, recommends prioritizing the building of public hospitals in Southern Luzon and not in the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. Villar noted that there is no public hospital in Southern Luzon while former First Lady Imelda Marcos, during her time, built so many hospitals in Quezon City.
