Recycling of seized illegal drugs: Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, during Tuesday’s Committee on Finance Subcommittee C hybrid hearing, September 29, 2020, on the proposed 2021 budget of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) asks Director General Wilkins Villanueva if it is correct to assume that recycling of confiscated drugs is not much of a problem at present. “I have not heard in the news recently about the recycling business of law enforcement officers as we have seen before. Is that a correct assumption?” Drilon asked.
