Binay co-sponsors SB 1907: Sen. Nancy Binay co-sponsors Senate Bill 1907 which seeks to institutionalize services and programs for learners with disabilities in support of inclusive education during the hybrid session Monday, November 23, 2020. Binay lamented the fact that Filipino children with disabilities have limited access to public education due to the lack of accessible features to accommodate their needs in public schools. Binay cited authorities who estimate that one out of seven children or around 5.1 million Filipino children have disabilities.
