Senate Honors Sokor Envoy: Sen. Richard Gordon sponsors Senate Resolution No. 586 commending South Korea Ambassador to the Philippines Han Dong-Man during the hybrid plenary session Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Gordon said the ambassador initiated a number of Korean investments for projects in the country, among them was the construction of the Jalaur Multipurpose Dam in Iloilo, which is considered the largest Official Development Assistance (ODA) project ever granted by South Korea. “Mr. President, like I said, I know of no ambassador in the country present today that has been aggressively pushing the health and compassion of many of our people who have become very, very vulnerable during all these typhoons,” Gordon said.
