Availability of funds under 2020 GAA and Bayanihan 2 extended: Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri congratulates Sen. Sonny Angara, chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, and his colleagues following the approval on third and final reading House Bills 6656 and 8063 which extends the availability of appropriations under the 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA) and Bayanihan 2, respectively. “Truly we need these measures passed and extended because there are several projects and programs still pending that have not yet been delivered from the Bayanihan 2 measure as well as the GAA. As long as it is wisely spent Mr. President, for the right programs, this is the right way of doing it,” Zubiri said during the hybrid plenary session Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
