Cooperative Development Authority Charter review: Sen. Risa Hontiveros commends the Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on Cooperatives (JCOCC) for including the review of the implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act 11364 or the Cooperative Development Authority Charter of 2019 as one of the topics in a hybrid hearing Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Hontiveros said the review is important in light of the issues and concerns raised by the leaders of cooperatives, particularly those engaged in the basic sectors of the National Anti-poverty Commission, on the implementation of the law. “At the very least the JCOCC will provide the venue for dialogue and hopefully, resolutions of the issues between and among the Cooperative Development Authority and cooperatives leaders,” Hontiveros said.
