Full support for OVP budget: Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri extends his full support for the proposed 2022 budget of the Office of the Vice President during a virtual hearing Tuesday, September 21, 2021. “We can give as much as we can, Mr. Chairman. You know that we have supported Maám Leni from the very beginning and we continue to support our Vice President. Whatever budget that she needs, Mr. Chairman, she has my support, together with the support of the minority leader in passing it on the floor. We have seen how hardworking she is. During her presentation, Vice President Leni Robredo said the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) allotted P713.14 million for the OVP’s 2022 budget, down by 21 percent from her office’s 2021 budget of P900 million.
