Senate panel tackles Marawi reconstruction and rehabilitation: Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, chairman of the Special Committee on Marawi City Rehabilitation, presides over a hybrid hearing Tuesday, September 21, 2021, tackling several resolutions on the status of the Marawi rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts. Dela Rosa said apart from the Marawi reconstruction being conducted by the government, the committee also wants to find out the condition and situation of its people, especially the internally displaced persons (IDPs). “As they say, although we are in the same storm, definitely we are not in the same boat. Our brothers and sisters in Marawi City have survived a war. Now, I am hopeful that we will survive this pandemic together.
