Imee Marcos presides over the Finance Subcommittee I hearing on the proposed 2022 budget of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and its attached agencies Monday, October 11, 2021. In a presentation, Social Welfare Sec. Rolando Bautista said DSWD-Proper has a proposed budget of P189.1 billion, which is 8.16 percent higher than this year’s P174.8 billion. Marcos pointed at the huge amount of grievances under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) and asked the department where they would get funding for this. Usec.
