Villar tackles proposed 2022 DAR budget: Finance Subcommittee B chairperson Sen. Cynthia Villar presides over Wednesday, October 20, 2021 a virtual hearing on the proposed 2022 budget of the Department of Agrarian Reform amounting to P12.838 billion. According to Villar, of the remaining 513,287 hectares of land available for distribution, 67 percent or 343,498 hectares were tagged as problematic, the biggest percentage of which are from Region 6 (Western Visayas). “Maybe, the inputs of some of the senators present here can shed light on this and maybe we can work around this hurdle,” Villar said.
