Amendments accepted: Sen. Joel Villanueva, during Monday’s hybrid plenary session, December 6, 2021, accepts amendments to Senate Bill No. (SBN) 2234 or the Department of Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act, particularly those which will not be in conflict with the ones proposed by Minority Leader Franklin Drilon and other colleagues. He said other amendments may still be introduced in the next day's plenary session. SBN 2234, sponsored by Villanueva, seeks to create a dedicated department for overseas Filipinos.
