FDA’s fast act accrediting Pharmally: Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan says he is surprised to hear that the Food and Drug Administration is included in the Anti-Red Tape Authority’s (ARTA) list of worst-performing agencies, after they acted very fast in accrediting Pharmally Pharmaceuticals Corporation as supplier of medical supplies. During Monday’s hybrid plenary session December 13, 2021, Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri said ARTA came up with the list in terms of complaints received. Pharmally executives are central figures in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee investigation into the purchase of so-called pandemic supplies and the utilization of COVID-19 funds by the Department of Health.
