A great loss to the entire country: Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri expresses his profound sympathy and sincere condolences for the passing of one of the icons and pillars of the Philippine cinema actress Susan Roces. According to Zubiri, Roces’ demise is a great loss not only to the bereaved family and the film industry but to the entire country as well. “We honor her invaluable contribution to the silver screen, our culture and cinematic heritage. We like her daughter to know that she is well-loved and an inspiration to many,” Zubiri said as he moved to make all members of the Senate to be co-sponsors of the resolution honoring the veteran actress during the hybrid plenary session Monday, May 23, 2022.
