Go sponsors measures upgrading, establishing gov’t hospitals: Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, chairperson of the Committee on Health, sponsors several proposed measures that seek to establish and upgrade national and local hospitals in the country during a hybrid plenary session Monday, May 23, 2022. Go, in a sponsorship speech, sought the support of his colleagues for the passage of local bills seeking to upgrade four Department of Health (DOH) hospitals, establish eight local hospitals and upgrade 18 local hospitals in various parts of the country. “While our Covid-19 situation is continuing to improve, we need to remain committed to capacitating our health care system. I am presenting these bills to upgrade some of the DOH hospitals and to strengthen our health care system.
