Congress canvassing update: As of 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Congress, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, has canvassed votes cast for President and Vice President from over 30 locations. Leading presidential candidates are former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., with 3,897,664 votes, representing 64.76 percent of the votes canvassed so far; followed by Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo, with 1,556,582 votes, representing 25.86 percent of the votes; and Sen. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao with 234,390 votes, or 3.89 percent of the votes counted as of writing. For vice presidential candidates, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte led with 3,588,832 votes, or 60.77 percent of the votes canvassed; followed by Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan with 1,011,500 votes, or 17.13 percent; and Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III with 1,008,282 votes, or 17.07 percent of the votes counted so far.
