Senate honors TOWNS awardees: Senate Minority Leader Franklin M. Drilon joins his colleagues in honoring and recognizing the awardees of The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS) 2019 during the plenary session Monday, May 30, 2022. Drilon expressed confidence that the awardees could lead in their respective fields to provide a better future for the country and the children. “Today, we need leaders. We need models. We need citizens who we can emulate and precisely these women that we're honoring today would fit that need for our country and our people,” Drilon said prior to the adoption of Senate Resolution No. 216, recognizing and commending TOWNS awardees.
