Senate ratifies bicam report on creation of MBLISTTDA: Sen. Imee Marcos sponsors the bicameral conference committee report on the disagreeing votes of House Bill No. 9215 which seeks to create the Metropolitan Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay Development Authority (MBLISTTDA). In a plenary session Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Marcos said the reconciled version of the bill only lowered the rank of the administrator of the development authority from cabinet secretary to assistant secretary. She explained the revision emanated from Baguio City Rep. Mark Go, the bill’s proponent in the House of Representatives, and was accepted by all the conferees. “The conferees deemed this most proper considering the territorial jurisdiction and scope of the functions of the MBLISTTDA. In this regard, I hereby move the ratification of the bicameral conference committee report on the disagreeing votes on House Bill No. 9215 on the creation of the Metropolitan Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay Development Authority," Marcos said.
