SSFI celebrates Christmas in November at SM Megamall: Audrey Kay T. Zubiri, chair of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc., accompanied sixty (60) wards of the Tahahang Mapagpala Center and the Social Development Center in Caloocan City in a fun-filled shopping spree at the SM Megamall Department Store on November 22, 2022.

Zubiri, together with the senators' spouses Gladys P. Cruz, Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, Nancy Dela Rosa, Precy Ejercito, Atty. Emmeline A. Villar and Neil Llamanzares, and Maricel Tulfo, Sen. Raffy Tulfo’s daughter, helped the children purchase basic items such as clothes, school supplies, toiletries, and toys. SSFI treated the children to a hearty lunch at Wendy’s and ended the day with an early dinner at Chowking.

An annual activity of the SSFI where senators' spouses get the chance to play Santa to orphaned or needy children, this year’s Manila leg of SSFI’s Christmas in November was made possible with the participation of the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. and the SM Store of SM Corporation.

SSFI’s Christmas in November’s last gift-giving activity was held in 2019 before taking a break due to the pandemic.

This year's activity became a happy reunion of sorts for the spouses and staff of SSFI when Jimboy, a special child they met at the shelter 12 years ago, performed a dance number together with two other special kids.
