Put our money where our mouth is: Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko’ Pimentel III, during the period of interpellation on Senate Bill No. (SBN) 2021 which seeks to Institutionalize the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) project of the government for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), says Congress needs to consistently provide funding for the program once the measure became a law. Pimentel said the program would surely benefit the MSMEs since not all enterprises and cooperatives can afford to buy their own equipment. “If we pass this into law Mr. President, we have to put our money where our mouth is. So we have to fund this program,” Pimentel said Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Under the proposed measure, the government will provide MSMEs around the country with the machinery, equipment and tools that they need, under a shared system.(Bibo Nueva España/Senate PRIB)
