Go expresses pride in AFP soldiers: Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go expresses his pride and support for the 15 high-ranking generals and officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) during a Commission on Appointments hearing Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Go commended the soldiers' dedication, particularly in maintaining peace and stability during natural disasters and security threats. “Each of these fine officers has demonstrated not only skill and professionalism but also an unyielding spirit of resilience in the face of challenges in defense of our country. You have stood steadfast in the face of adversity, sacrificing personal comfort and at times, risking your lives to ensure that our country remains secure and for our people to enjoy the blessings of democracy.
