SEN. PIA: JDV'S 72-HOUR DEADLINE 'UNACCEPTABLE'

"The 72-hour deadline that the House leadership has imposed on the Senate to pass a resolution calling for a constitutional convention is unacceptable and a grave insult to the Senate as a co-equal chamber. It's a vain attempt to save itself from the people's wrath and divert attention from the fact that a constituent assembly without the Senate is unconstitutional, illegal and immoral."
