Recto thumbs down ChaCha : "It's time to stop the charade"

"The Senate and the House should "close down" the respective ChaCha shows in their chamber so the nation can achieve closure on the divisive issue before Christmas," Senator Ralph Recto appealed yesterday.

"If this is heading nowhere, maybe it's time to stop the charade," Recto said.

"We might as well accept the fact of our irreconcilable differences."

"It will only be causing restiveness among our people. The ChaCha is just in life support at the moment. If that's the case, we might as well pull the plug, put this behind us, so we can all move forward," Recto said.

"By calling off ChaCha, people against it will be forced to call off rallies against an issue which has ceased to exist."

"Time out muna sa pulitika. The people deserve a break," he said.

"Kung pwede lang mangaroling ang mga tao sa mga mambabatas marahil ipagsisigawan nila na magsitigil na nga kami."
