VILLAR GETS THE PULSE OF THE MASSES
THROUGH CAMPAIGN SORTIES

Campaigns, consults, chats, checks, commends and chills out during sorties

Mr. Sipag at Tiyaga Senate President Manny Villar says that visiting various towns, cities and provinces during the campaign period is like hitting two or more birds with one stone. The President of the Nacionalista Party cites that campaign sorties allow candidates like him to campaign, consult, chat, check, commend and of course chill out.

Campaign sorties are not just for campaigning. We can accomplish so many things by going around the country. I consult with the local leaders and business communities; I chat with the locals; I check the status of government projects or programs; I personally commend people who need to be commended and since all work and no play will drive anyone crazy, one should find time to relax and chill out as well, explains Villar.

Villar continues with his public market tour over the weekend in Davao, Quezon Province, Rizal Province and today (Mar. 12) in Zambales and Olongapo.

In Subic and Zambales, Villar discussed with local government and business leaders how the Senate can help in attracting more tourists and investors by legislating measures that provide additional incentives or benefits to them.

Villar also visited the public markets of Iba, Botolan, Castillejos, Subic, Olongapo and he also dropped by campuses.
