KIKO ON THE DISQUALIFICATION OF JOSELITO CAYETANO

"We commend the action taken by COMELEC to disqualify Joselito Cayetano. Nuisance candidates serve only to create confusion among our electorate. We urge the Commissioners of COMELEC to promote clean and hones elections. A clean listing composed of credible candidates and credible party lists, will also help ensure that our elections be taken seriously by the electorate.

This forthcoming election could be the greatest legacy that Chairman Abalos could leave, especially if he is able to ensure honest and clean elections. Our people seek solutions to long-running problems. We will not lose hope that our elections this May can be a referendum on politics as usual, and can promote the change in our democracy that we have long yearned for."
