"BLOODY MONDAY" AT THE SENATE SET

Hundreds of personnel from the Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Navy (PN), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) of Pasay City, Office of the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms (OSSAA), Southern Police District (SPD), Manila Police District (MPD), Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) and National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) are set to rush to the Senate on Monday to join in a blood donation program organized by Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr.

With the theme "Dugong Alay Pandugtong ng Buhay", the blood letting program to be held Monday morning at the Senate basketball court is part of the week-long activities in celebration of the senator's forty-first birthday on September 25. This is in cooperation with Rizal Medical Center , Philippine Children's Hospital, Pasig City General Hospital , Medical City Hospital and various non-government organizations.

The lawmaker also arranged a government one stop shop to operate in SM Molino from September 24 to 28. It will be composed by mobile clearance processing units of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Land Transportation Office (LTO) and National Statistics Office (NSO).

Aside from the said programs, Revilla will grace on the same day the opening ceremonies for the Bacoor Anniversary Week.

On the senator's birthday, a tree planting event will be conducted at Daang Hari, Molino Road , Cavite where thousands of fire-trees will be planted along the said thoroughfare.

Revilla is also sponsoring the "Disenyo Resiklo", a fashion show featuring garments made of recycled materials. The show is being organized by the lawmaker's wife, Lani Mercado, who is a co-chairperson of the Bacoor Solid Waste Management Board and the Bacoor Clean and Green Program. It will take place at the SM Bacoor Entertainment Center on September 27.
