REVILLA URGES OTHER HAYDEN VICTIMS TO COME OUT
HAYDEN HAS 40 SEX VIDEO LIBRARY

After Katrina Halili's courageous public confession and filing of complaint, Senator Bong Revilla today encouraged other victims of Dr. Hayden Kho to make a similar move to bolster the case against the celebrity doctor, who was reported to have about 40 sex video collections.

Revilla pointed out that it would be an act of vindication for Kho's other victims, particularly to those whose sex videos are already circulating in the Internet, mobile phones and pirated DVDs.

He further explained that the other victims may be too shy to be identified in public, but what is most important is for them to file a legal action against Kho.

"I understand the pain, shame and trauma they are going through, but it would be worse for them if they choose instead to keep silent. They are victims. They should break their silence and lodge a complaint so we can get rid of these prevalent acts of perversion and arrogance," said Revilla.

According to the senator's sources, there are thirty nine other sex videos of Kho and two of these videos involved the same girl.

"News reports said that four of these videos are now circulating in cyberspace, cell phones and pirated discs, including the one involving Katrina. We must find all means to prevent the proliferation of the other videos for the sake of the other victims. This is why I am again asking the NBI and government agencies to do everything possible to prevent the spreading of these videos over the net" he stressed.

Revilla said if Kho really has a 40 video library of his sexcapades, this proves that there is indeed something wrong in him.

"Being a voyeur, Kho needs to undergo a neuro -examination. Maybe he wants to have a film festival of his video compilation which banners his exploitation and abuse of women. " he said.

Last Wednesday (May 21), Halili went to the Senate to seek the assistance Revilla in filing a case against Kho over their controversial sex video. Later that day, the lawmaker accompanied the actress in filing her complaint in the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

In his privilege speech last Tuesday (May 20), Revilla urged the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) to take action in revoking the medical license of Kho and ban him from the practice of medicine perpetually.

He cited Section 24 of the Republic Act No. 2382 or the Medical Act of 1959 whereby immoral or dishonorable conduct and even insanity are among the grounds for reprimand, suspension or revocation of a doctor's certificate of registration.

Revilla also pushed for the passage of his Anti Pornography Bill which seeks to slap stiffer penalties against those who publish, broadcast and exhibit pornographic materials through the use of traditional media, internet, the "cyberspace", cellular phones and other forms of media.

He added that under Article 26 of the Civil Code, every person shall respect the dignity, personality, privacy and peace of mind of his neighbors and other persons, and disturbing the private life of another person constitutes to a cause of action for damages.
