CHACHA MAKES BANTAY KORTE SUPREMA ADVOCACY CRUCIAL

With the passage of the Chacha bill in Congress, it is now expected to pass through Supreme Court, where President Arroyo has currently appointed 13 of 15 SC justices.

"Chacha has made our work crucial," says Independent senator Francis 'Kiko' Pangilinan, who is a part of Bantay Korte Suprema, a Supreme Court watchdog that aims for transparency in choosing the next SC judges. "Now, more than ever, we need to ensure separation of power in branches of government."
