SEN. REVILLA'S STATEMENT ON THE PASSING AWAY
OF PRESIDENT CORY AQUINO

I would like to express my sincerest condolence to my colleague Senator Noynoy Aquino and the rest of the Aquino clan for the passing away of his beloved mother. The entire Filipino people owe President Corazon Aquino a huge debt of gratitude for her significant contribution, just like her husband, in bringing back democracy in the country.

After her term, the views of the soft-spoken Cory on socio-political issues served as words of wisdom for the masses. It even encouraged them to assemble back in the streets. That is what Cory Magic is all about.

Si Pangulong Aquino ay hindi lang ina ng kanyang mga anak kundi naging ina rin ng mamamayang Pilipino. Gaya ng People Power na pakikibaka, payapa rin niyang nilabanan ang kanyang karamdaman.
