VP POST NOT OVERCROWDED;
JUST WIDER CHOICES--KIKO PANGILINAN

Independent senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan disagrees with statements that the vice president post for the 2010 elections is overcrowded.

"It's good for the people. In the end, the people will have a wider set of choices."

According to Pangilinan, names do not matter as much as consolidating efforts under a reformist agenda in time for the national elections.

"The bigger question now is how we can unite different reform efforts. My own plan may be subsumed to a more important task of uniting behind a common reform agenda."
