KIKO PANGILINAN WELCOMES COMELEC DECISION ALLOWING
DANNY LIM'S BID FOR THE SENATE

Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan welcomes the ruling of the COMELEC to include Liberal Party senatorial bet Danilo Lim in its list of official bets for the 2010 elections.

"We are pleased that the COMELEC ruled favorably on our colleague's appeal. Now we can move forward in leading the senate team of the Noy-Mar campaign and introduce the new faces of effective governance."

Pangilinan was named campaign manager of the senate slate of the Liberal Party. Lim, who is currently detained at Camp Crame, completes the 12 LP slate.

"We are in constant communication with him as we iron out platforms and campaign plans. With this decision of the COMELEC, our team is now complete. We will soon introduce the true people's slate that will institute genuine reforms in the country in 2010 and beyond."
