Pangilinan: NP Dirty Tricks Will Backfire;
Voters Will Reject Black Propaganda

Once again, the Villar camp has been caught with their pants down.

Yesterday, mere hours after staunch Villar supporter and former president of the National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) Guido Delgado distributed copies of an admittedly unverified case study and psychiatric report to media in a press conference in Quezon City, the alleged signatory, Fr. Jaime C. Bulatao, SJ, called the documents "fabricated."

The fake documents detail the supposed psychiatric evaluation of presidential frontrunner Benigno "Noynoy" S. Aquino III made in 1977, when the latter was still a student in the Ateneo de Manila University.

It was also revealed yesterday by Fr. William Kreutz, SJ, that Delgado had the opportunity to verify the authenticity of the documents, when the latter called him the morning of April 27, 2010 to speak to Fr. Bulatao. Fr. Kreutz advised Delgado that he would speak to Fr. Bulatao himself, but Delgado never waited for the result.

When reached for comment on the new round of black propaganda being thrown at Aquino, Liberal Party senate slate campaign manager Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan said, "No amount of dirty tricks can prevent the triumphant march toward genuine change of an enlightened and united people. These dirty tricks coming from the NP will backfire. It will seriously hurt their standard bearers' chances even further and will ultimately make theirs a lost cause."

Speaking on why the tandem of Aquino-Roxas is being received with such warmth and enthusiasm by Filipinos, Pangilinan added: "Change is definitely in the air. By employing these foul and bankrupt methods, our adversaries are digging their own graves. They will be rejected by our people who now see in Noynoy and Mar integrity, sacrifice, honest leadership and a real chance for a better, more progressive future."
