Bulakeños Assure Aquino Victory in Bulacan

Residents of vote-rich Bulacan welcomed Benigno "Noynoy" S. Aquino for the third time this year, and vowed to give the leading presidential candidate a landslide win in the province.

"Kitang-kita naman na dito sa Bulacan ay panalo na ang team-up nila Noy at Mar," said Governor Jonjon Mendoza, who received two visits from Aquino and running mate Mar Roxas last February after the Commission of Elections ordered the governor to vacate his post following his declaration of support for the Liberal Party (LP) tandem.

Mendoza said.

Aquino and Roxas visited Bulacan anew to meet with local officials and interact with supporters and volunteers in the province of more than 1.5 million registered voters.

A massive crowd of Bulakeños sporting yellow shirts chanted "Noynoy! Noynoy!" and made the Laban sign when the LP motorcade arrived. Local officials led by Mendoza, Calumpit Mayor James de Jesus, and former Governor Josie dela Cruz greeted Aquino.

During the motorcade, Aquino told reporters that the fabricated psychiatric report released by Guido Delgado, who works for the campaign team of Sen. Manny Bamba Villar, showed the difference between the LP and the camp of the second-placer in all national surveys.

Bulakeños watching the motorcade also dismissed the fake report. One said: "Hindi talaga. Eleksyon lang kaya sinisiraan siya." Another added: "Kahit ano pang paninira sa kanya, Noynoy kami.
