Nancy bothered by deaths in Zamboanga City evacuation centers
Calls on government agencies to not forget evacuees

Senator Nancy Binay is bothered by reports of deaths inside evacuation centers in Zamboanga City, where many residents have been living since a faction of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) besieged the city six months ago.

"At least 81 people according to the Zamboanga City health office have died in the evacuation camps because of various diseases and this leaves a horrible feeling, especially to those still inside the centers," said the lady senator.

Sana hindi." the lady senator added.

She likewise called on concerned national agencies to not turn their backs to the thousands still living in the centers.

Thousands have been displaced by a spate of man-made and natural calamities and disasters that have hit the country in the past years, including typhoons Pablo, Sendong and Yolanda and the 7.2 magnitude earthquake which struck Bohol and Cebu.
