Senator Bongbong Marcos on Senator Koko Pimentel's Statement On Being Considered As Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's Running Mate

Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. today welcomed the statement of Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel that their political party, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) is considering Senator Marcos to be Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's running mate for the upcoming 2016 general elections.

"Aaminin ko na merong mga members of the party na siya (Marcos) ang gusto," Senator Pimentel confessed.

"If somebody supports me, why will I turn that down? Of course not. I will always welcome anyone's support," Marcos enthused.

"Anything is possible in Philippine politics and that this election has turned out to be unique, including many non-traditional arrangements."

Using the words of Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Senator Marcos said that what they are forming with each other is a loose coalition. "We will have to find out and make our own way with Senator Miriam to define exactly what our coalition will be," Marcos concluded.
