Bongbong Marcos sweeps campus survey in University of Caloocan City

VICE Presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. continues to dominate mock surveys in colleges and universities, this time among students of the University of Caloocan City (UCC).

In a mock survey conducted across its five campuses, Bongbong Marcos was the runaway winner garnering 40.15%. His closest rival Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero was the second place at 31.02%.

Senator Cayetano got 9.97%, Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo 9.74%, Senator Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes 4.19%, and Senator Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan 1.46%.

In the presidential survey, Mayor Rodrigo "Rody" Duterte topped the same poll with 44.98% Sen. Grace Poe scored 19.3%, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago had 17.6%, Vice President Jejomar "Jojo" Binay registered 12.54%, and administration bet Mar Roxas at 4.09%.

UCC has 18,192 students across its five campuses.

Bongbong also topped the mock polls conducted by the Arellano University from 1,500 respondents in all its 6 campuses. Marcos obtained 45.75 percent while Cayetano got 18.76 percent. They were followed by Escudero at 16.58 percent, Robredo at 11.45 percent, Trillanes at 3.92 percent, Honasan with 1.73 percent and the Undecided at 1.871 percent

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte topped the presidential survey with 51.85 percent followed by Santiago (18.39 percent), Poe (12.81 percent), Binay (8.59 percent), Roxas (3.77 percent) and Undecided (4.6 percent).

Marcos also recently topped the mock polls conducted at the Adamson University in Manila receiving 46.35 percent. Marcos' running mate Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago also topped the said polls receiving 64.06% of the votes out of 1, 524 respondents.

Marcos said it would appear that Santiago's popularity with the youth sector has rubbed off on him which could explain his strong showing in mock polls in universities. "At talagang ang kabataan suportadong-suportado siya. And I am happy to see na pati naman sa akin ay nararamdaman natin na suportado rin tayo ng kabataan," said Marcos.
