Bongbong Marcos gets mobbed in Makati by young and old supporters

OLD and young generations in Makati City have bridged the age gap as they found a common denominator in the vice presidential candidacy of Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr.

This developed today as residents of city's financial district, old and young alike, went out of their homes and expressed support to Marcos as he passed by residential areas bringing his "Unity Caravan" to the city.

In his motorcade, Marcos was "mobbed" by the thousands of people of all ages who lined the streets to witness his motorcade with many of them holding "personalized" streamers bearing slogans like "Marcos forever" and "Solid Marcos".

Among the barangays Marcos' motorcade passed through were Brgys. Pinagkaisahan, Pitogo, South Cembo, Cembo including Guadalupe BLISS housing project, West Rembo, and East Rembo.

In Pitogo, Marcos administered the oath of officers of "Kailian Kami Kabsat (Kababayan Kami, Kapatid)," an organization of Ilocano residents in Makati leading the campaign for his vice presidential bid in the city's barangays and nearby areas.

Marcos expressed gratitude to his supporters even as he called on them to join his crusade for national unity, the backbone of his vice presidential campaign and the principle of his brand of governance.

"Samahan ninyo ako sa kilusan na pagkaisahin ang lahat ng Pilipino dahil ito ang magbibigay ng progreso sa ating bansa," he said.
