BONGBONG MARCOS GETS SUPPORT FROM REVILLAS, CAVITEÑOS

As the campaign season winds down, Vice Presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. has received a stronger backing from the influential Revillas of Cavite and their local public officials in the town of Bacoor.

In a morning rally at the Strike Revilla Gym, Marcos was endorsed by Mayor Strike Revilla, Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla and their slate of councilors before a roaring crowd of supporters.

The group's party, Lakas ng Tao-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), had earlier adopted Marcos at a plenary of the party held at the Manila Golf Club in Makati City. It was during the plenary where Mercado seconded Marcos' nomination.

The Revillas declared Marcos the next Vice President in a symbolic raising of arms.

"Mabuhay si Vice President Bongbong Marcos!" Lani Revilla proudly proclaimed much to the delight of the crowd.

"Siya ang susuportahan ng Lungsod ng Bacoor, walang iba kundi si Vice President Bongbong Marcos!" she reiterated.

This developed as Marcos urged voters to guard their votes come Election Day as reports are rife of electoral fraud in the Overseas Voting.

"Kailangan po nating bantayan ng mabuti ang ating boto," Marcos urged. "Huwag tayong papayag na nanakawin sa inyo ang inyong boto," he added.

Despite this, Marcos took refuge in the strong support of the people and their acceptance of his genuine public service. "Pabayaan na natin sila (Malacañang). Ang tao ay nasa atin para sa kapakanan ng bayan at hindi natin iniisip ang ating mga sarili," Marcos exclaimed.

"Tayo ay nagsisilbi lamang bilang lingkod bayan," Marcos said to a thunderous applause from the concurring crowd.
