Sen. JV Ejercito on the Boracay closure

My proposal is to close Boracay this coming June which is considered as "off season", so as not to disrupt the earlier bookings and reservations done by tourists.

There has to be alternative livelihood for those who will be temporarily displaced as a result of the temporary closure for 6 months.

The establishments who are violators should be closed immediately. But those establishments which are compliant be allowed to operate until the 6 month closure order takes in effect.

Again my proposal is to close Boracay in the off season.
