Sen. Bam: Support from Filipino people key to good showing in surveys, mock polls

Re-electionist Sen. Bam Aquino made it to the Magic 12 of the recent surveys and mock polls, which he attributed to the growing support and confidence of the Filipino people.

"We are grateful for the continued support and confidence of the people in the world despite the false news we are bumping into," said Sen. Bam.

"Your trust serves as a force to further strengthen this crucial fight in which our country is at stake," added Sen. Bam.

Sen. Bam recently topped the survey conducted by the Sanggunian ng Loyola Students of Ateneo de Manila while he finished 4th in a "Bantay Boto" poll conducted at University of the Philippines Diliman.

Sen. Bam placed 5th in the mock election held by the University of San Carlos School of Law and Governance and sixth in mock polls held at UP Baguio and at Philippine Normal University.

In a survey conducted by the Carl News Review Centers involving around 4,536 respondents from its 110 branches in different parts of the country, Sen. Bam ranked 8th with 38.7 percent.

In the Magdalo pre-election survey conducted from March 5 to 7, Sen. Bam finished 9th with 32.6 percent.

Sen. Bam said his impressive showing in mock polls will further inspire him to reach more Filipinos and listen to their concerns and needs.

"It's important that we listen to the people's voice because of this our work is based and will continue to be done in the Senate," said Sen. Bam.

"If we are to make the move, we will continue to propose a plan that will provide a definitive job for our K-12 and college graduates with the help of Work Centers," the senator added.
