Statement of Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel F. Zubiri on Eid'l Fitr

In preparation for Eid'l Fitr (6:20 p.m. Manila Time), I join our Muslim Filipino brothers and sisters in their celebration of Eid which marks the end of Ramadan. You have endured a month-long test of sacrifice but faithfully shown resolve and steadfastness as you practice one of the pillars of Islam. May the teachings of the Holy Month for each and everyone to bear their respective and societal challenges in patience be observed while joining hands as a nation to realize the lofty promise of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. May we all continue to sustain the gains of this lasting peace for all Filipinos. Eid Mubarak!
