Sen. Grace Poe's Manifestation

First of all, I'd like to thank Senator Bato for introducing this very crucial bill. Alam n'yo matagal na talagang napapabayaan ang Bureau of Fire Protection. 'Pag nagkakaroon ng sunog, talagang buwis-buhay ang marami sa ating mga bumbero dahil wala silang protective outfits. In fact hindi lamang 'yun, minsan kulang pa ng tubig para patayin o iapula ang apoy. So napakaimportante talaga nito. There's only a certain point of limitation that we can humanly possibly do unless we have the right equipment. Imagine, even in our financial district, I don't think we really have the sufficient safety gear for our fire protectors. So, I would like to thank Senator Bato and I am supportive of this bill and if I am not yet, I would like to be co-author of this bill.
