PRRD admin's campaign against corruption spares no one, says Bong Go lauding the anti-PACC's launch of 'Project Kasangga'

Senator Christopher "Bong" Go commended the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission for fulfilling its role as the Office of the President's anti-graft arm during the launching of 'Project Kasangga: National Anti-Corruption Coordinating Council' via a virtual convention on Friday, September 3.

"This call to action, which includes the whole of government in making sure that good governance is practiced, amplifies the dedication of the Duterte Administration in fighting graft and corruption," said Go in a video message.

Project Kasangga establishes anti-corruption coordinating councils within government agencies and a national anti-corruption coordinating council chaired by the President.

Its goal is to eliminate graft and corruption involving government officials within the various government agencies, as well as establish a better relationship between PACC and other government agencies in order to carry out Duterte's anti-corruption drive.

The Senator then expressed gratitude to the PACC for all of its efforts to guarantee that the administration's aim of eradicating government corruption is carried out.

Despite the government's efforts to combat the pandemic, Go stated that the government is still committed to fighting corruption.

Go also expressed their faith in and support for government personnel who are honest and hardworking. He did, however, issue a warning to those who will get involved in corruption.

Wala kaming pinipili. Kahit sino ka pa, saan ka man nanggaling, nakatrabaho ka namin noon o sumuporta ka man sa kampanya, basta sangkot ka sa korapsyon, yari ka talaga," he added.

He then urged the entire government to join the fight against corruption and defend the nation's dignity by providing honest public service.

On October 2018, Go and PACC also founded the Truth and Justice Coalition, an initiative which seeks to assist the government in fighting corruption by assisting with fact-finding inquiries, lifestyle checks, and other investigations. It collaborates with lawyers, retired public officials, religious leaders, the private sector, and other government institutions to create platforms for citizens to report corruption and reward those who do so.
