She helped greatly in crafting the rehabilitation and recovery plan for victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

This was how Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson recalled the late former Social Welfare Secretary Corazon "Dinky" Soliman, who died on Sunday at age 68.

"Rest In Peace Sec Dinky Soliman. It's impossible to forget how the DSWD under her watch went all out in helping us craft the Yolanda Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan, providing all the needed data. She never missed attending a coordination meeting that we called," Lacson said in a post on his Twitter account.

Lacson served as Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery, coordinating efforts to help victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

The CRRP detailed rehabilitation and recovery plans and funding requirements for the national and local governments, as well as guidelines for engaging with the non-government sector.
